Personal referrals help strengthen our community and are highly valued during the application process. If applicable, please provide the member’s name and how you know them. Applicants without an existing connection are still welcome to apply and will be considered through our standard review process.

Participation Agreement

Purpose

The CLARITy Coalition stands for peace, democracy, liberty, and secular governance and is deeply concerned by the continuing threat posed to these values by Islamism. As a coalition-based organization, CLARITy brings together individuals with diverse perspectives and backgrounds who share a commitment to the Coalition’s foundational mission and objectives.

The Coalition supports open dialogue, robust discussion, and respectful disagreement. Membership carries an expectation that participants engage constructively and in a manner broadly consistent with the Coalition’s mission, integrity, and functioning. Membership is voluntary and reflects an ongoing commitment to participate in a manner consistent with the Coalition's mission, values, and community expectations.

Members Agree To:

  • Support the Coalition's mission and objectives.

  • Engage respectfully and constructively with others.

  • Participate in good faith.

  • Avoid harassment, intimidation, abusive conduct, and persistent disruption.

  • Respect Coalition governance processes and leadership decisions.

Terms of Membership

  • Membership is voluntary.

  • Membership requires ongoing compatibility with the Coalition's mission and community standards, including in all public-facing communications.

  • Concerns may be reviewed by the Ethics Committee.

  • Leadership retains final authority regarding membership status.
